You Are?
My name is Catherine but I probably wouldn’t turn around and say hi unless you called me Cathy (I’m so used to it). I am a mum of two and an ardent internet junkie.
You Work At?
Home. I’m a round-the-clock mum to my two little dumplings. Timothy came into this world four and a half years ago and is quite a big handful at times. Sarah is more of a lady at seven years old. They’re the best of pals on occasions and fight like cats and dogs at all other times. But the truth is, they make my world go round.
Nah, I mean… Do you actually work?
Didn’t I just answer that question? On a serious note, yes I do. I work as a mother, a cook for my kids and hubby (and friends whenever they come over), a homeschooler for my Timothy and Sarah, a writer-cum-newbie blogger as and when I can squeeze in time to pen down a couple of lines and an ardent believer that Math and Science and education isn’t as hard as it is cracked up to be.
Once upon a time (that is, before I succumbed to the wedding vows with hubby dearest), I was a teacher to five-ten year olds. Now I continue my passion to teach in the comfort of my home.
You love?
Chocolate cupcakes.Teaching.Writing.
My latest love is blogging. Blogging about how to make education and learning fun AND easy (in that order) for your tiny tots. I wish to reach out to the world and shout it out from the rooftops. Learning can be FUN. It is actually meant to be that way. And I hope to help all you mums (and dads) out there by letting you in on how I go about it.
You demand…?
… That kids enjoy learning at all times. That’s all. Now is that asking for too much?
