How can one talk about ice-creams and not think of chocolate, for that matter? In my last post, we talked about ice-cream games. Hence, it is only relevant to regard chocolate as the next step :)
That brings me to the two chocolate recipes my kids love the most. Here goes.

Double chocolate chip cookies: Make sure you don’t miss out the word ‘double’; if it’s chocolate chip, it has to be double otherwise “no point baking cookies whatsoever” (my kids’ take of course and their dad seconds it). Simply cream the sugar and butter with a mixer and add to it the requisite amounts of egg and vanilla. Then comes the sifting together of the flour, baking soda, salt, cocoa and baking powder. Add the two said mixtures and beat them together before adding the chocolate chips. Finally, the baking takes about 14 minutes and you’re done!
Chocolate cake: This microwaveable one is ready in less than ten minutes and tastes almost as good as any other elaborate chocolate cake. Add some boiling water to a bowl full of cocoa and mix it thoroughly. Microwave it for 45 seconds or so. Add sugar, flour, egg, milk and oil to a bowl and mix them all together; now add to it the microwaved cocoa mixture. 6-7 minutes again in the microwave is all it takes for your decadent chocolate cake to be ready.
Anything tastes good if it’s made of chocolate. Wotsay?
